Weekly BeatsPosted: June 22, 2012
Great show this week, we had special guest Anomie (Sofie Loizou) bangin out the tunes and promoting her recent release Forward>>><<<Backward.
She’s about to skip town to play a whole host of gigs across Europe including Outlook Festival, possibly the biggest BASS gig in the northern hemisphere. You can grab her amazing release of psychedelic bass jams out now through Sub Continental Dub.
Super awesome L.A. label Proximal Records released Beat Stew vol.4 this week. Spotlighting local artists and promoting up & comers, Proximal Records is the brain child of Sahy Uhns and Jeff Elmassian. Great release and it’s free!
Hailing from Montreal, BUeLLER drops this excellent freebie innerCiRCLE. My favourite release for the week, BUeLLER combines lush chords, punchy percussive elements with abstract bangin beats. Grab it while it’s hot!
Back over to California, new label/collective 710 records releases this low frequency compilation of post juke gangsta blap. 38 tracks of pay what you want goodness with stacks of bass shaking beats.
And finally, oddlogic (Outlier Records) drops this beast of bootleg remixes. Heaps of great tracks getting the oddlogic treatment on this one. Don’t hesitate, this stuff is the bee’s knees and it’s free!
That’s all for this week, you can head over to FBi radio on demand to grab previous shows if you missed em.
